About me: I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of Virginia. I obtained my PhD from
Columbia University in May of 2013, under the guidance of
Professor Mikhail Khovanov. In 2008, I completed my MPhil study
at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, supervised by Professor
Guowu Meng. I received my BSc degree from Tsinghua University in 2006 (Academic Talent Program, class 2002).
Previously, I worked as the Sherman-Fairchild Research Assistant Professor at Caltech (2017-2019), as a Gibbs Assistant Professor
at Yale (2014-2017), and as a Morrey Visiting Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley (2013-2014). Research:webpage.
